A few weeks ago we went to the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum. It is a cool place that shoecases Shanghai thru the ages and where it came from. Below is Claire standing in front of some of the iconic landscapes of current Shanghai. They have even included the new tallest building that is currently being built that is even taller than the can opener building (Shanghai Financial Center).
One floor is comprised of a minuture layout of the city within the inner loop...it was fun finding all of the landmarks that we have become familar with...our complex is right ouside this loop so it was not included.

Afterwards...we visited one of our favorite restaurants that we like when down near the Bund...one of the few Chinese restaurants that we like...Lost Heaven. The girls like their watermellon Juice.
After lunch, we visited a local temple.
The girls found the hand painter very interesting...
They coudn't resist touching the scared rock with offereings in/on it.

Outside the temple...fairly non descript...very busy and we coudn't find our driver since they would not let him park on the street.
